    Sacred fire warms
  Chanting young pujaris   
   By the Ganges shore

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
    Scampering  monkeys 
Scramble on sandbanks,skip on rocks
     Lining Ganga shore

 
 
 
 
 
     Two greybeards discourse 
 Smiles crease gap t o o t h ed  faces   
     fingers point to  heaven  

 
 
 
Rishikesh streets whispher
Cows bunch together for warmth 
Wind fills the darkness
